Through no real fault of his own, Lugft Huron has found himself backed into a corner by the hideous and labyrinthine Imperial bureaucracy. Astartes Chapters have found themselves drawn into the conflict on both sides, resulting in one of the most brutal wars in the recent history of the Imperium. In this version of the Badab Campaign, the Dark Angels have taken up the duty of putting down what the Inquisition sees as Lugft's rebellion. Despite their Supreme Grand Master (Rob) feeling some sympathy for Lugft's cause, the Dark Angels are sworn to uphold the rulings of the High Lords of Terra, and will resolutely fight to the death to bring the Emperor's justice to the Badab Sector.
As the war rages through its first two phases, the Seccessionists are proving stubbornly resistant, forcing battle after battle to a stalemate and holding the Loyalists at bay...
